Simple Dreams Oregon

Music with Impact

Who We Are - Rogue Valley Musicians

Simple Dreams Oregon is a band built on heart — a family of musicians devoted to creating live music experiences that lift spirits, spark connection, and bring people together. Our passion is simple: celebrate songs that have shaped generations and use music as a force for good in our community.

Where Our Story Began - Linda Ronstadt's Greatest Hits

Everything began with Simple Dreams – Ronstadt’s Greatest Hits, our signature full-band musical tribute. A rich, emotional journey through Linda Ronstadt’s most beloved music, each performance is a love letter to an era of unmatched songwriting — delivered with powerhouse vocals, soaring harmonies, and a band that plays with both passion and precision. It’s more than a concert. It’s a revival of spirit.

A Musical Flight - Fleetwood Mac, Heart, & Journey

Our newest show is a soaring, harmony-rich tribute to the golden age of rock. Featuring music from Fleetwood Mac, Heart, and Journey. This immersive experience  captures the high-energy, feel-good soundtracks of the biggest bands of the 70s and ’80s.

Music With a Purpose - Feeding America

Simple Dreams is committed to turning music into impact. Through our partnership with Feeding America and with the support of our audiences and venues, we have helped provide over 25,000 meals for local food pantries.

Meet The Band

Albert Lee

Co-Founder, Guitar, Keyboard

Albert Lee, a lifelong musician, began playing piano at age six and classical guitar at 14. With a bachelor's degree in music composition, he has professional credits on several studio albums for major label artists. He has honed his craft as an in-house studio musician for United Artists. His solo albums, released in 2018 and 2023, are available on Spotify under "Albert Lee the Other."

Alois Henderson

Co-Founder, Lead Vocals

Alois Henderson's musical journey was profoundly influenced by her musician father, leading her to become a lifelong singer. She joined a vocal jazz group in the early 2000s and learned to play the piano. In 2020, she teamed up with Albert Lee, and their shared love for Linda Ronstadt inspired them to form Simple Dreams in 2022. The band has quickly gained popularity, with sold-out shows and a promising future.

AJ Monaco

Lead Guitar

AJ Monaco began his musical journey in his late teens, moving to Southern Oregon in 1988 to form a band. After a successful early career, he took a 15-year break but returned to the stage with Rock Candy, joining Pier Pressure and Simple Dreams. AJ now performs with Simple Dreams and Triple Threat, marking a significant comeback in his musical career.

Rick Copeland

Lead Guitar

Lifetime of Music, A Heart for Service

From the warm tones of his grandfather’s organ to the soulful sounds of Leon Russell and Elton John, Rick Copeland’s journey has been shaped by a love of music that spans decades.

Starting on clarinet and switching to guitar at just 10 years old, Rick found his way to the piano in high school — later adding saxophone and pedal steel guitar to his repertoire. Over 60 years later, his music continues to evolve, now as part of Simple Dreams, alongside Alois and Albert.

Rick’s story is one of resilience, growth, and the belief that music can bring hope where it’s needed most.

Tony Mullins

Drums

Tony Mullins, a self-taught singing drummer with over 40 years of experience, has played in various bands from speed metal to country. His projects include Portland's Savior, Born Naked, Red X, and original music collaborations. Born and raised in Southern Oregon, Tony loves sharing his music with the local community and aims to provide musical therapy to those in need.

JD Berlingeri

Bass

JD Berlingeri grew up in New Jersey in a musical family. He started his career in a jug band and busked across the US and Europe. He opened for Gordon Lightfoot at the Montreux Jazz Festival. Playing with Simple Dreams brings him back to his roots and connects him with some of his dearest friends.
